With the continued introduction of new Covid-19 variants that vary in levels of contagiousness, we wanted to send out a note to our patients to remind everyone about our continued efforts to protect our community and to create as safe of an environment as possible for you to receive care. One of the most effective ways to do this is by investing in high quality air filtration methods.
Since the start of the pandemic, we’ve made air filtration and purification a priority in our office. Our multi-layer air quality management system at Stow Family Chiropractic includes:
- Whole office air filtration: We have 2 HEPA filters, 1 in each of our 2 5-ton commercial HVAC systems. HEPA filters remove 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns (µm)
- Whole office air purification: We have 2 PHI Package Air Purification units by RGF Environmental Group, 1 in each of our 2 5-ton commercial HVAC systems. This system reduces 95% of airborne bacteria, mold, odors and viruses*.
- Proximity air filtration and purification: We have 5 HEPA/UVc and 3 HEPA filters placed throughout the office next to potential close contact areas for extra protection.
We are also continuing to disinfect high-touch areas after each adjustment, encouraging social distancing between patients, and requiring masks in the office for all staff and patients.
